Helen Haynes

Helen Haynes has an A.A. in Music Education from Hutchinson Community Jr. College, and a B.A. in Music Education from McPherson College, with additional course work in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She has attended numerous workshops and training sessions, accumulating over 200 hours of Early Childhood Music & Motion training. She has a lifetime certificate from the state of Missouri to teach vocal music K-12. She is also a licensed, certified Musikgarten instructor, Baby Sing & Sign instructor, member of ECMMA, and has over 50 years experience in teaching private piano lessons and working with children. Her goal is to instill a love of music in every child, and to develop a continuous musical experience for children from birth through piano or other instrumental instruction. She also loves teaching adult piano students.

Helen is the mother of two grown children, grandmother of three, great-grandmother of one, wife of a very supportive husband, Harley, and lives in Ashland with one cat.
