How long does it take for my site to be created?
Once you complete and submit the Request A Site Form, it usually takes only a few minutes for your site to be created. You will receive an email when everything is ready and can then log into the Admin site by using the "Member Login" fields on the main page of this website. The first time you log in, you'll be asked a couple questions to finalize your account setup. Once you submit the answers, your website will be live and available to the public.
How do I manage my site?
You will use our Account Admin Site by logging in with a UserID and Password that you specify when you request your website. From the Admin site, you will be able to customize the look of your site, edit the text on the pages, select different images or upload your own pictures, etc. The Admin site is easy to use and has been designed with the inexperienced user in mind.
How will I be billed?
You will receive your first invoice by email which will include a pro-rated amount for the remaining days in the current month. Payment can be made by check or through Visa or MasterCard. If you pay by check, you will receive an email invoice on the first of each month. Payment is due by the 15th of the month. If you wish to pay by credit card, your credit card information will be kept on file and your card will automatically be charged on the 1st of each month.
How will people find my website?
It is your responsibility to advertise your website. This can be done by submitting your website address to any or all of the numerous search engines on the internet and through printed documents (ie. business cards, printed order forms and invoices, etc.). In order to have people find your website when they do a search on a search engine (ie. yahoo, google, infoseek) you have to submit the URL address of your website to that search engine. The process isn't hard and we have provided detailed instructions on how to do so, but because there are many new sites submitted each month, it's important to occasionally check your site ranking and resubmit as needed. Of course, you don't have to do this, but it definitely helps to attract customers to your site. Keep in mind that it can sometimes take up to a month from the time you submit your address until you can do a search and have your site come up.
How can my customers contact me?
Through the email address you provide as your "Site Email Address" on your Account Admin Site. Any correspondence submitted on the "Contact Us" page will be sent to this address. Also, whenever anyone registers online, their information will be emailed to this address.
